This Privacy Policy describes how UniversalAGI, Inc. ("UniversalAGI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website at universalagi.com (the "Site"), interact with our online forms, request a demo or trial of our products, or otherwise engage with us online (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Information We Collect


We collect information in the following ways:

Information You Provide

We collect information you submit directly to us, including when you:

  • Fill out a contact form, request information, or sign up for our newsletter or mailing list;
  • Request a demo, trial, or evaluation of our platform or products;
  • Submit a job application or other inquiry;
  • Communicate with us via chat, email, or other channels; or
  • Create an account or otherwise register to use any of our online tools.

The information collected may include your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, country, and any other information you choose to provide in free-text fields, messages, or attachments.

Information Collected Through Demos and Evaluations

If you request or participate in a demonstration, trial, evaluation, or pilot of our platform, we may collect additional information, including: account credentials and authentication data; usage data (such as features accessed, queries submitted, session duration, and interaction logs); device and connection information; and any inputs, files, configurations, or other content you submit to or generate within the platform during your evaluation. The terms of any separate evaluation, trial, or commercial agreement between you and UniversalAGI will govern the treatment of inputs and outputs processed through the platform; this Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected in connection with your access.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, and language preferences;
  • Referring and exit pages, pages visited, time spent on pages, click data, scroll depth, and other interaction data;
  • Approximate geographic location derived from IP address; and
  • Information about how you interact with marketing emails, including whether you opened them or clicked links.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including business contact databases, enrichment services, social and professional networks (such as LinkedIn), our partners and resellers, and publicly available sources. We use this information to supplement the information we hold about you and to support our sales, marketing, and business development activities.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies


We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, analyze traffic, deliver and measure marketing, and improve the user experience. This includes PostHog for product analytics and privacy-masked session replay, Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement, marketing automation and customer relationship management platforms such as HubSpot, and chat or demo-scheduling tools embedded on the Site.

You can enable or disable optional PostHog analytics at any time using the analytics control in the Site footer or Platform account menu. We also honor supported browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for PostHog. Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Site may not function properly.

How We Use Information


We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • To respond to your inquiries, fulfill demo and trial requests, and provide customer support;
  • To send you marketing communications, newsletters, product updates, event invitations, and other materials we think may interest you (subject to your right to opt out);
  • To conduct sales, business development, and account management activities, including outreach and follow-up;
  • To analyze how the Site and our marketing campaigns are performing and to develop new products, features, and services;
  • To personalize your experience and tailor content and offers to you;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and government requests;
  • To protect our rights, property, and safety, and the rights, property, and safety of our users, customers, and others; and

We may also use information in aggregated or de-identified form, which does not identify you personally, for any lawful business purpose, including research, analytics, benchmarking, and product development.

How We Share Information


We do not sell your personal information. We share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers. We share information with vendors, contractors, and service providers who perform services on our behalf, including hosting, analytics, marketing, communications, customer relationship management, payment processing, recruiting, and professional services. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
  • Affiliates. We may share information with our current and future affiliates and subsidiaries for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • Business Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale, or transfer of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request; to enforce our agreements, policies, or terms of service; to protect the security or integrity of our Services; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of UniversalAGI, our users, customers, or others.
  • With Your Consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

Your Choices


  • Marketing Emails. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those communications. You may still receive transactional or relationship messages, such as responses to your inquiries.
  • Cookies. You may manage cookies through your browser settings, as described above.
  • Account Information. If you have an account with us, you may update or correct certain information by contacting us at the address below.

California Residents


If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"). Subject to certain exceptions and verification requirements, you may have the right to:

  • Request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
  • Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA); and
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

Data Retention


We retain personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, comply with our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the context in which it was collected.

Security


We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Visitors


UniversalAGI is headquartered in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, you understand and consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Children's Privacy


The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information. Changes to This Privacy Policy


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
